The Development Assurance Division plays a critical role in the management of the Department's Planning and Environment Court proceedings, and the delivery of critical infrastructure through targeted planning processes and development assessment best practices across the state.
As a Senior Planner, you will contribute to the Appeal and Regional Interests team through the case management of Planning & Environment (P&E) Court proceedings involving State Assessment and Referral Agency (SARA) decisions and the case management, processing and assessment of Regional Interest Development Applications.
In addition, there will also be opportunities to contribute to other projects within the broader Development Assurance Division as the need dictates, including the case management, processing and assessment of Ministerial Infrastructure Designation requests and State Facilitated Development proposals, the management of the Ministerial call-in functions including the assessment of called in applications and investigating alleged breaches of certain development approvals.
