Rate: $900-$1,120/day + Super
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Process Improvement Specialist to partner with our Talent Acquisition team on enhancing recruitment processes across NSW Government agencies. This is a high-impact, short-term contract opportunity ideal for professionals with a strong background in recruitment operations, process redesign, and compliance.
You will be responsible for mapping current recruitment workflows, designing simplified future-state processes, and embedding risk and compliance considerations into operational practices. You will also document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support the adoption of improved systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead current-state ("as-is") mapping of end-to-end recruitment processes and systems
* Design simplified future-state ("to-be") processes, identifying efficiencies and risk mitigation opportunities
* Develop clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Talent Acquisition team
* Conduct risk assessments and incorporate recommendations into process improvements
* Optimize ATS and recruitment workflow systems to enhance team efficiency
* Support change management and adoption within operational teams
Key Requirements
* Extensive experience working with NSW Government recruitment frameworks and the Government Sector Employment (GSE) Act
* Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or Service Design)
* Proven experience optimizing ATS/recruitment workflow systems
* Strong change management and adoption skills within operational teams
* Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
