We're expanding our operations team and seeking a Machine Operator - Automation who is a natural tech guru to join our thriving crew in Kalbar.

Key responsibilities & tasks include:
- Setup and monitor performance of vision grading technology, making necessary changes to maximise recovery.
- Operate upstream infeed and downstream, packing equipment and systems.
- Undertake system Quality Control activities, such as inspection against product specification and process temperature / sanitisation monitoring.
- Undertake basic fault finding and preventive maintenance activities as directed by the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, bunker and storage conditions.
- Communication with Production Managers, Line Supervisors and Packing teams, ensuring critical information is delivered when its needed.
- Equipment cleanliness and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
About you
As a Machine Operator - Automation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality, freshness and value of our produce.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Have a passion for minimising waste.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Naturally tech savvy mindset with a desire to learn new skills.
- Experience with NEWTEC CELOX, TOMRA vision systems and Delta Robotics will be highly valued, but not a pre requisite; full inhouse training is provided.
- Willing to work shifts as required.
- Values the safety of self and others.
- Pragmatic approach to Quality Control and the pursuit of what is right.
- Previous fresh food exposure and experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and in cross functional teams.
