We're seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead and coordinate patient care delivery within Burra Hospital. As a pivotal member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring continuity and quality of care while fostering a positive work culture. You'll utilise your clinical knowledge and experience to lead nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams towards achieving optimal patient/client outcomes. Your main focus in this role will be line management, coordination, and leadership of team activities, accountability for nursing/midwifery practices, and promoting a work environment conducive to staff development and patient-centric care. About You We're looking for candidates who possess: Strong leadership skills with expertise in communication, problem-solving, and negotiation Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated experience in fostering a person-centered care environment Proven flexibility, creativity, and innovation in healthcare settings Track record in leading and promoting consumer engagement and change management. Essential Criteria Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with a minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience. Previous experience in management, leadership and supervisory roles is essential.
