We are currently looking for Precast Concreters/Formwork Carpenters to join the team located in Warnervale. This position would suit someone who has previously done concrete rendering, gyprocking or have a background in formwork and false work, steel fixing or concrete placement.
Our client is known for Installing reinforced earth walls for roadwork on / off ramps and bridge abutments, manufacturing and installing precast concrete elements, installing anchors and soil nails to stabilise slopes and vertical faces, and manufacturing and installing noise walls to minimise the impact of road operations on residents.
What you will be doing:
* Patching and repairing concrete
* Mould set up and formwork
* Assist with concrete pouring and setting procedures
* Cleaning and oiling of moulds
* Placing of reo bar
* Grouting and hand sanding
* Assembling, erecting, and dismantling concrete forms
* Ensuring forms are properly braced, aligned, and secured
The job requirements:
* Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Experience using basic hand and power tools
* Experience in concrete patch repairs and remedial works (highly desirable)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
* Good eye for detail, ability to follow instructions, be a team player, reliable
