About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager, or a confident 2IC/Supervisor ready to step up, to join our team on a full-time (5 days per week) basis, covering a 12 month maternity leave.
You will initially work alongside an experienced Retail Manager for a structured handover and onboarding period. Following this, you will take on the Retail Manager role independently for the duration of the maternity leave, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and consistency in standards, compliance, and customer experience.
There is a strong likelihood for the role to continue beyond the maternity leave period, with opportunities for ongoing employment available for the right candidate, subject to performance and business needs.
This role suits a hands-on leader who performs strongly in a fast-paced retail environment, with a clear focus on operational standards, team accountability, and delivering a consistent, customer first experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop a motivated and customer-focused team
* Drive sales performance and achieve store targets
* Oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory management
* Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and store presentation standards
* Deliver outstanding service aligned with the Priceline brand values
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

About You
* Proven experience in retail management (pharmacy or health & beauty retail highly regarded)
* A confident, supportive leader who enjoys developing people
* Results-driven with strong commercial awareness
* Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills
* Passionate about customer service and team engagement
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
* Flexible availability, including weekends

To Be Successful, You Will Have
* Proven management and sales experience in a Community Pharmacy environment
* S2/S3 Certificate (essential)
* Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy (preferred but not essential)
* Willingness to complete the qualification within a set timeframe if not currently held
* A strong commitment to delivering customer service with integrity
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Sound understanding of the Quality Care Pharmacy Program
* Self-motivation and the ability to guide, inspire, and lead others
