The role
This isn't a cog-in-the-machine PM role.
If you're looking for a role where you can influence projects from the earliest stages of development through to completion, keep reading.
Dux Property Group is a Gold Coast-based development advisory and project management firm specialising in residential apartment developments across South East Queensland. Our work spans the full development lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility and design development through to procurement, construction and completion.
The Role
This role offers exposure to the full development lifecycle.
While you will be involved in the delivery of active projects, a significant part of your role will focus on projects in the early stages of development - working with architects, planners, consultants and clients to help shape outcomes before construction commences.
You will work directly alongside the Director and be involved in all aspects of the business, with the opportunity to take increasing ownership as your experience and capability grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing residential development projects from acquisition and feasibility through to completion
- Coordinating architects, planners, engineers, landscape architects, certifiers and other consultants
- Managing design development, authority approvals and consultant deliverables
- Participating in builder procurement, ECI processes and contract negotiations
- Monitoring programme, budget, risk and quality across multiple projects
- Assisting with feasibility analysis, development strategy and project due diligence
- Managing construction delivery and contract administration during the delivery phase
About You
This role will suit someone who enjoys the development process as much as the construction process.
You may currently be working for:
- A developer or client-side project management business
- An architectural, planning, engineering or property consultancy
- A builder in a project management, contract administration or design management role and looking to move client-side
Most importantly, you will be genuinely interested in how projects are conceived, designed, approved and delivered.
You will have
- Experience working on medium or high-density residential projects in Australia
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and sound judgement
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Planning or a related discipline
What's on Offer
- A genuine project leadership role with significant autonomy and responsibility
- The opportunity to help shape residential developments from the earliest stages of design through to completion
- Involvement in acquisition, feasibility, design management, approvals, procurement and delivery
- Direct influence over project outcomes, consultant teams and development strategy
- A growing pipeline of high-quality residential developments across South East Queensland
- Competitive remuneration and a clear pathway into broader development management responsibilities
