We are seeking to establish a pool of Early Childhood Education Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. Glengarry Primary School (PS) is an attractive school located in the suburb of Duncraig, approximately 15 kilometres north of Perth City. The well-kept buildings, featuring student made mosaic masterpieces are surrounded by tranquil, natural bushland, flowerbeds and well maintained grassed and bitumen play areas.
The supportive, dedicated and experienced staff works collaboratively to enhance each of the almost 400 student's physical, social, academic and emotional development. Assisted by continuing professional development, the staff is working to prepare students for the many demands and rapid change of the 21st century. The Role
The suitable applicants will ideally have a teaching philosophy that aligns closely to the school's vision of "maximising the potential of all students". This will be achieved by having an exemplary understanding of explicit teaching strategies and a high-level appreciation of how to use data in an informed manner to ensure needs of children are addressed. An ability to use collated information for planning to meet.
The suitable applicants will ideally have a teaching philosophy that aligns closely to the school's Business Plan and our vision of "maximising the potential of all students". This will ideally be achieved by having an exemplary understanding of explicit teaching strategies and a high-level appreciation of how to use data in an informed manner to ensure needs of children are addressed. An ability to use collated information for planning to meet the individual needs of students is highly desirable including use of NQS, On-entry and other associated data.
Suitable applicants will ideally be self-reflective, willing to part of a highly collaborative team and prepared to be part of a performance development cycle that includes leadership and peer observations. Being part of a team, also alludes to ensuring exemplary levels of communication (within the school and with the school community) using established departmental tools including Connect, Compass and email. They should also have the ability to Teacher in an Early Childhood Education setting.
