About us
The Administration Officer (Audiology) is the behind-the-scenes superstar ensuring high-quality hearing services run like a perfectly tuned playlist across Central Queensland Health. You will be supporting both kids and adults, helping them get the care they need and helping people be heard.
About the role
Step into a role at the control centre of the audiology service; keeping everything running smoothly, on time and sounding great.
Be the go-to person for all things admin, delivering top-notch customer service to patients, staff, and visitors while juggling bookings, calls, records, reports, and the million little details that keep a healthcare service ticking. One minute you're scheduling appointments, the next you're preparing documents or managing data. Variety is the name of the game, and boredom isn't invited.
Work closely with the Speech Pathology Director, team up with audiologists, ENT specialists, and the wider Allied Health crew – a workplace where collaboration is strong and everyone plays their part. At the same time, you'll have the independence to make decisions, manage your workload, and take initiative.

* Able to prioritise, meet deadlines, and keep everything on track, before anyone can say "follow-up email."
* You know when to talk, when to listen, and when to keep things strictly confidential. Sensitive info? Safe with you. Always.
