Specific Criteria
* Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School
* Demonstrated ability and experience in teaching Stages 4-5 English and Stages 4-6 History
* Ability to teach Stage 6 Ancient History is desirable
* Capacity to contribute to the school’s Continuous Improvement Cycle and is committed to student achievement
* Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners
* A deep commitment to safeguarding as everyone's responsibility and prioritising child safety
* Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students;
* Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
* Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
* Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning

St Joseph's Catholic College, East Gosford is a systemic girls secondary school providing courses from Years 7 to 12. The school was established in its present form in 1967 at East Gosford on the Central Coast. It was founded by the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart to provide Catholic secondary schooling for girls in the City of Gosford.
