Great opportunity to join our supportive patient services team in a leading cardiovascular group based in Chatswood.
About The Role:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our patient services team at Chatswood Heart. This role works collaboratively as a member of our support team to provide a positive patient service experience for patients and their families. Shifts would be weekdays generally between the hours of 8am and 5.30pm.
Responsibilities include;
* Supporting all patient services provided to patients and their families
* Scheduling patient appointments and managing healthcare professional's schedules
* Providing a high level of administrative and reception support
* Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organization of the clinic
* Following up on reports and correspondence from external providers such as imaging and pathology results
* Completing billing for all patient services undertaken in the clinic and liaising with various health providers and Medicare
* Liaising with hospitals and other Medical Practitioners including co-ordinating patient hospital bookings and procedures
About you :
You will be an enthusiastic and professional individual who enjoys interacting with patients and providing excellent customer service, as well as have;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload;
* Proven experience working effectively both independently and in a team environment, a natural collaborator;
* A positive 'can-do' attitude and approach;
* Ability to deal tactfully in all situations and interactions, demonstrating empathy and patience even whilst under pressure;
* Strong computer skills;
* Previous customer service experience is essential;
* Experience in healthcare or other service industry is well regarded but not essential; and
* Ability to operate independently at times.
