Mendham Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a Qualified Engine Reconditioner or Fitter Machinist for our busy well equipped Rocklea Workshop specialising in Engine Reconditioning on large diesel and gas engines.
Applicants must hold a trade certificate in Engine Reconditioning or Fitter & Turner qualification.
An experienced operator is required for the following machines:-
* Cylinder head reconditioning
* Cylinder block machining
* Conrod reclamation
* Crankshaft repairs
* General engine component repairs
Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of machining experience.
This is a full time permanent position with the opportunity for possible future advancement for the right person. 38 hours week with overtime daily.
This is a busy privately owned workshop, specializing in jobbing repair work in the Earthmoving and Mining industries. The Company also repairs parts with Thermal Arc Metal Spraying and Laser Cladding .
This position offers the opportunity for a Tradesperson to gain valuable knowledge in a wide range of machining operations. A huge variety of work is available.
