In This Role, You Will
* Provide expert, strategic, and authoritative advice on major investment opportunities, development strategies, and policy proposals.
* Identify opportunities for government participation in projects and initiatives that attract private sector investment and encourage commercial developments in Queensland.
* Develop and implement investment and delivery strategies that stimulate private sector engagement and project acceleration, enabling impactful investments state wide.
* Oversee the successful delivery of high-value infrastructure projects and other key government priorities, including significant contributions to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
* Drive value for money in Queensland's infrastructure programs, property developments, and major commercial transactions.
* Manage major stakeholders and lead with expertise during complex consultations and negotiations to ensure tangible economic outcomes.
* Deliver the Government's broad, challenging commercial agenda while achieving cost-effective, innovative, and timely project delivery.
What Experience You Will Bring
* Proven leadership experience in managing large, diverse teams to deliver significant project and investment outcomes.
* In-depth experience in facilitating and managing financial and commercial analysis of infrastructure projects, property developments, and commercial transactions.
* Expertise in strategic project planning, business case development, procurement, and mitigating risks in complex economic and financial environments.
* A track record of delivering major and high-value infrastructure and commercial projects aligned with strategic government goals.
* Demonstrated ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to address economic, financial, and investment challenges.
