About the opportunity:
The Sales Manager plays a key role within the Wilson Homes Sales team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This role is all about driving the growth and momentum of the Wilson Homes business by ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded. In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Leading a team of passionate Sales professionals and boosting performance through inspiring leadership, hands-on coaching, and a whole lot of team spirit
•Keeping a close eye on sales performance, celebrating wins and supporting growth to hit key targets like KPIs and customer satisfaction
• Supercharging lead management by championing fast follow‐up, clear activity tracking, and a disciplined, momentum‐building sales pipeline
•Sharing regular insights and updates with the CEO - teaming up to refine processes and uncover exciting opportunities for improvement
• Building strong, strategic relationships, collaborating with developers and land agents to unlock new sales opportunities and strengthen partnerships
•Leading recruitment efforts for new sales talent - spotting top performers, culture champions, and future stars
•Working closely with the Marketing Department to develop retail promotions and sales collateral
About you:
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
• Proven leadership experience within new home sales, and/or related sectors
• Strong ability to lead and develop the teams capability
• Demonstrated experience executing sales strategies and pipeline
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to drive change
• A continuous improvement mindset to enhance results across the team
• Drivers license, willingness to travel to the north head office and display homes
• Willingness to work events afterhours and some weekends to meet the availability of our customers.
