Key Business Growth Position
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our business growth initiatives.
This is a results-focused and data-driven role that involves qualifying our value proposition to prospective customers.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify opportunities: match our capabilities to the problem to be solved and define what success looks like.
2. Forecast growth: engage with prospects to gain accurate information about opportunity size and expected contract close.
3. Closing deals: convert pipeline opportunities into new signed annual recurring revenue through disciplined follow-up and negotiation of contract terms.
4. Collaboration: work with product, marketing, and customer success teams to refine messaging and ensure smooth onboarding transitions.
5. Strategic planning: contribute to the strategic mapping of market opportunities and strategic customer accounts.
6. Improvement initiatives: lead initiatives based on experience of how to deliver solutions to customer problems more effectively.
7. Relationship management: maintain ongoing relationships with senior customer executives to ensure alignment and future expansion opportunities.
Requirements:
1. 3-5 years of experience in outbound business development or sales in a SaaS environment.
2. Healthtech SaaS experience would be favourably regarded.
3. Demonstrated success in generating leads and closing deals in a SaaS environment.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong organisational and time management skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
