About the Role
We are looking for a motivated entry-level Hazardous Materials Consultant to join our team 2 days per week, with the option to increase hours as you gain experience. This role is a mix of site work and office tasks, and full training will be provided.
What You’ll Do
* Assist with site inspections in homes and commercial properties
* Help collect environmental samples (mould, asbestos, meth, fire/water damage)
* Take clear photos and notes to document site conditions
* Support the preparation of reports for clients
* Learn to use and maintain environmental testing equipment
* Work safely and professionally under guidance from senior staff
About You
* Current driver’s licence (essential)
* Bachelor of ScienceReliable, responsible, and willing to learn
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Comfortable working independently on-site
* Physically able to carry equipment and access roof cavities or confined spaces
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Desirable
* Interest or experience in environmental work, building, or restoration
* Previous exposure to sampling or site inspections is a bonus but not required
