Create your best future and join Westpac on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract as a Senior Technical Analyst within our Chief Transformation Office youll help deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather analyse and document requirements.
Break down large ambiguous problems into smaller well-defined tasksor use cases.
Create process flows user stories functional specifications and other artifacts.
Translate business needs into logical structured and actionable requirements.
Work closely with developers testers and UX / UI teams to ensure accurate implementation.
Facilitate workshops interviews and brainstorming sessions to uncover root causes.
Perform gap analysis impact assessments and data analysis as needed.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases and validating deliverables.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
What do I need
Hands on experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong logical thinking and analytical skills able to approach problems methodically.
Excellent communication skills able to explain complex ideas simply.
Experience in writing clear structured documentation(e.g. user stories use cases BRDs).
Comfortable with process mappingtools (e.g. Gliffy Visio).
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
