Overview
The Move Management Consultant is responsible for providing customer service and coordination of International and/or Domestic Removals. The role is critical in the successful delivery of our services end to end. You will bring your high attention to detail and problem solving capabilities to the role where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
* Provide communication to relocatee regarding the status of all elements of their move
* Ability to interpret and distinguish specifics of each policy and explain how it applies
* Actively manage relocatee issues and ensure 360 degree communication of situations and provide resolutions
* Follow up with moving services branches and third party suppliers for outstanding information regarding client moves or quotations
* Pass on information effectively; orally and in writing
* Demonstrate keen influencing and negotiating skills
* Takes effective action to identify and act on customer needs
* Acknowledges and respects both internal & external customers
* Conveys accurate information & delivers quality customer service
* Collate and escalate issues to ensure customer satisfaction
* Report real and potential problems and any unsatisfactory practices to your manager
* Demonstrate dependability, build relationships with peers and contribute to teamwork
* Show enthusiasm, support motivation and commitment
* Provide valuable input into the operations of the team
* Treat others with respect and operate with integrity and honesty
* In the case of removals, coordinate packing/shipping/storage of relocates personal effects, cars and animals; liaise between relocatee, client, removalist and third-party supplier; track process through to delivery
* Coordinate necessary travel, transport and accommodation arrangements
* Make timely contact with relocatees within given KPIs throughout the relocation
* Plan effectively to meet targets and key responsibilities
* Maintain accuracy, detail and reliability
* Move quickly and with discipline to stay ahead of the competition
* Balance demands and work systematically
* Respond to change and adapt to new concepts
* Reconcile and authorise third party supplier invoices
* Perform budget planning and costing estimates as required, coordinating third party quotations
* Maintain database accurately
* Work according to the Company Quality System requirements
* Maintain all internal databases as necessary
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Demonstrated experience in delivering high level of service to clients
* Excellent ability to build rapport and relationships with clients
* Good written and verbal communication skills and diplomacy
* Ability to think and present ideas clearly and logically
* Must be a team player and self-starter with initiative and drive
Experience in a customer-focused or administrative role, providing end-to-end services supporting government clientele. Experience in International Relocations or Moving Services is advantageous.
