- A current driver's licence and a roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Valid Working With Children Check.
- First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Those with a certificate or experience supporting people with a disability are highly regarded.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Deliver client‐centred support, promoting client independence.
- Use a strengths‐based approach to develop skills and abilities.
- Support community access and participation.
- Assist with self‐care and activities of daily living, including domestic activities.
- Work in accordance with the NDIS Code of Conduct.
- Work in accordance with care plans and NDIS goals.
- Work in accordance with all People Care Services policies and procedures.
- Ensure privacy and confidentiality principles are always maintained.
- Maintain qualified relationships with participants and their families and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of independence, leading to increased choice and control.
- Provide positive, respectful, dedicated support.
