Quality Hotel Robertson Gardens is a 138-room property set on 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Featuring modern conferencing facilities, an on-site restaurant, and a games room, we pride ourselves on offering a warm and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused, and experienced Guest Service Agents to join our dynamic team. This is your opportunity to be part of a friendly, supportive workplace where your contribution is truly valued.
About the Role
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of our hotel – the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay through exceptional service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome and Farewell Guests: Be the first and last point of contact, ensuring every guest has a warm and memorable stay.
* Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently handle guest arrivals and departures.
* Guest Inquiries & Requests: Respond to guest queries in person, via phone, email, and our website, providing detailed information about the hotel's facilities, accommodation, and services.
* Accurate Billing: Process payments, ensuring all charges are accurate and timely.
* Operational Support: Assist with the smooth running of hotel operations by liaising with internal departments to meet guest needs and handling night audit duties when required.
* Promote Hotel Facilities: Look for opportunities to enhance guests' stays through up-selling hotel services and amenities.
* Maintain Records: Accurately update guest and company records, ensuring up-to-date data entry and correct rates are applied.
* Guest Transfers: Safely operate the hotel's minibus to provide scheduled guest transfers to and from local transport hubs, events, or other destinations, delivering a friendly and professional travel experience.
What We're Looking For
* Exceptional Customer Service: A passion for delivering outstanding service to our guests.
* Experience: Previous hands‑on experience in front office, reception, or reservations roles, preferably in a hospitality or service environment.
* Tech‑Savvy: Experience with OATs or RMS systems is an advantage (but not essential).
* Professionalism: A friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills (both face-to-face and on the phone).
* Team Player: Able to work well under pressure, both independently and in a team environment, with a positive, can‑do attitude.
* Organizational Skills: Strong administrative abilities, including attention to detail, problem‑solving, and time management.
* Flexibility: Full availability and flexibility to work across rotating shifts (example shifts - 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am), including weekdays, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
