We are currently seeking the right person to join our Business and Partnerships team.
The Manager People, Safety and Wellbeing is responsible for providing strategic oversight and contemporary delivery of key human resource, culture, wellbeing and occupational health and safety strategies and activities for the organisation, in alignment with the Corporate Plan, organisational policies, procedures and relevant legislation and regulations.
The North East Catchment Management Authority works with the community, government and funding organisations to protect and enhance land, water and biodiversity resources.
This position will provide advice and guidance to the CEO, managers and employees to effectively provide HR, Safety and wellbeing functions and services across the organisation and is responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of HR, OHS and wellbeing throughout the full employment life cycle.
The successful candidate will have:
* Demonstrated high level experience in HR, safety and wellbeing to achieve legislative compliance and industry best practice.
* Proven ability to monitor, analyse and interpret people and OHS metrics to guide and inform HR, safety and wellbeing decisions.
* Demonstrated experience in policy and procedure development in HR and OHS to meet organisational requirements and appropriate governance.
* Well-developed experience in the delivery of Strategy with a holistic view on the employee life cycle.
* Demonstrated experience in responding to complex, sensitive and often emotionally challenging HR and OHS matters, including those involving psychosocial hazards, ensuring issues are managed in a safe, lawful and respectful manner.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a part time (0.6FTE) ongoing position and is based in Wodonga, Everton or Tallangatta. The remuneration rate for this role is $120,971 pro-rata (plus super).
