Overview
Sala Restaurant, located at Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont, is hiring Front of House team members to join a vibrant team. We are seeking hands-on Managers and all FOH roles with hospitality experience and the desire to build a career with one of Sydney's leading hospitality groups. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships are essential. A passion for service and a commitment to business goals will contribute to your success with us.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate leadership and supervisory capabilities in a front-of-house environment.
* Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and retention; train, develop, and mentor team members.
* Maintain high standards of guest engagement and ensure exceptional service delivery.
* Work across a 5-day roster within a 7-day week; manage front-of-house costs effectively.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of food, wine,and cocktails; support team in beverage service.
Qualifications
* Current RSA certificate and full working rights in Australia.
* Proven leadership and supervisory experience in hospitality.
* Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with guests and staff.
* Availability to work 5 days across a 7-day roster; well-presented with excellent guest engagement skills.
* Creative, solution-focused, and team-oriented; passion for the hospitality industry.
* Previous experience in bartending or waitstaff roles is preferred.
* Food and beverage knowledge is an advantage (training provided).
