About the Role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:
Work with consumers presenting with a range of mental health conditions.
Complete OT-specific assessments such as Model of Human Occupation (MOHO), Sensory Modulation, and other evidence-based tools.
Deliver tailored 1:1 intervention to support recovery and wellbeing.
Take a leading role in promoting engagement in meaningful occupations and functional skill development.
Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
About You
You are an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about mental health recovery and making a difference in forensic settings.
You will bring:
At least 5 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist (preferable).
Strong knowledge of OT frameworks, including MOHO and sensory-based interventions.
Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and autonomously when required.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
What You'll Need
Approved degree in Occupational Therapy recognised for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia – Australian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Registration with AHPRA.
