Concrete Remediation Manager
The opportunity exists to join a dynamic and growth-focused infrastructure business, contributing to diverse high-profile projects. We are seeking an experienced foreman/supervisor to provide overall supervisory support for projects within the Concrete Remediation Division.
About the Role:
This role involves mentoring, skill development, project planning, and coordination of projects through to completion. Key responsibilities include developing technical skills for site-based teams, assisting project managers and site engineers, ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements, and maintaining effective cost control and project efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop technical skills specific to the concrete remediation and coatings industry for our site-based teams.
2. Assist project managers and site engineers from initial site setup to completion.
3. Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements.
4. Work closely with the team to maintain effective cost control and project efficiency.
5. Growth of our labour force and subcontractor engagement.
6. Ongoing project support, reporting, and weekly meetings.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Certificate IV in relevant construction qualification or trade certificate.
* Solid interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work alone at times and have motivation to be a crucial part of our team.
* Good understanding of site management and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work priorities, cost control, stakeholder management, subcontractor management, documentation, statutory approvals.
* Ability to develop, maintain, and influence positive working relationships within the business and with our clientele.
* Understanding of quality and safety policies and procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Autonomous but can also work in a team environment.
* Strong organisational and people management skills.
* Able to manage a diverse team of skilled trades and subbies.
