About the Role
In this role you will utilise your expertise in civil engineering design to deliver conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs for a wide range of water-related projects.
We are looking for a
Associate or Senior Associate Civil Engineer
to join our multidisciplinary water team in Adelaide. You'll take the lead on project engineering and management, providing solutions and service to clients both on site and remotely.
Key responsibilities include reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, performing calculations and modelling, overseeing drafting, and preparing reports and specifications. You'll build strong client relationships, demonstrate a clear understanding of their core business needs, and contribute to an inclusive environment that values diversity, continuous improvement and professional growth.

Your Ideal Skills And Expertise
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline
Extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
Strong understanding of safety in design, constructability, operational practices, and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
Knowledge of risk management and ability to identify design-related risks
Experience managing medium to large engineering design projects
Commitment to working safely and within HSEQ systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel occasionally as required
Ability to write successful bids for new and existing clients
