THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and client‐focused professional to take ownership of the onboarding process within a dynamic advisory environment.
In this role, you will manage the end‐to‐end onboarding journey for new advisory and tax clients, ensuring all administrative, regulatory and quality requirements are completed efficiently and accurately. Acting as the key contact during the onboarding phase, you will coordinate internal teams and guide clients through each step before their engagement transitions into ongoing service delivery.
You will work closely with senior advisors, accountants and corporate services teams to ensure onboarding processes align with engagement scope, compliance obligations and internal quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the end‐to‐end onboarding process for new advisory and tax clients
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding stage
* Prepare engagement documentation including engagement letters, ethical checks and conflict documentation
* Coordinate Proof of Identity (POI) processes and client documentation requirements
* Establish and maintain accurate client and entity records across internal systems and CRM platforms
* Ensure clients are properly set up within relevant systems and government portals
* Collate and finalise onboarding documentation prior to engagement commencement
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure onboarding aligns with engagement scope and client expectations
* Assist with compliance requirements including AML/CTF obligations and regulatory standards
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
* Previous experience in a client onboarding, administration or practice support role within professional services
* Exposure to accounting, tax or advisory environments highly regarded
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to manage client interactions professionally
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with practice management or CRM systems
* Experience working with government portals or compliance processes advantageous
* Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
