What's the role on offer?
Based at Rockhampton Aviation Maintenance (RAM), the Utility All Rounder (Cleaner) & Facility Maintainer plays a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities by ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained working environment.
This is a hands-on role combining cleaning, facilities maintenance, and general upkeep, contributing to the safety, wellbeing, and professional presentation of our aviation maintenance operations.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all RAM facilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure amenities are clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the day
Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance issues or hazards
Perform minor repairs and general maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and furniture repairs
Coordinate with licensed trades for specialist repairs where required
Support preventive maintenance activities and promptly report major maintenance or safety issues
Safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment in line with procedures
Monitor and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a reliable, practical, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Your skills and experience will include:
Previous experience in cleaning, facilities, maintenance, or a similar role
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment
Basic maintenance and repair skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good time management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive approach to safety and compliance
Additional requirements:
Current Driver's Licence
Ability to lift up to 15kg unassisted
Willingness to undergo background checks
Availability to work flexible hours as required
