About the role
The Department of Justice, Corrective Services in Western Australia are establishing a Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Rehabilitation and Reintegration Service for adults and young people in custody and the community who present as a risk of Violent Extremism (VE), and/or are vulnerable to radicalisation to VE. The primary objective is to establish and deliver dedicated services to monitor and address risks associated with managing high risk extremist offenders.
Responsibilities
* Manage and provide oversight of the Program, including leading the implementation of the service‑delivery framework.
* Manage operations.
* Oversee clinical assessments and interventions.
* Assist in the development of clinical governance frameworks.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop an understanding of best practice for assessing, managing and addressing extremist offenders.
