We work closely with clients across industries including construction, utilities, engineering, and enterprise services, helping businesses improve operations through technology, systems, and scalable delivery solutions. As we continue to grow our digital presence and expand our market reach, w e are looking for an experienced and highly independent Social Media Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across key digital platforms. This role is best suited for someone agile, adaptable, and capable of executing quickly with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced startup environment. This is a contractor engagement with potential extension based on performance and business needs. We value speed, ownership, and results. Key Responsibilities Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook / Meta Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize for conversions, engagement, and ROI Develop audience targeting and retargeting strategies Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights and recommendations Support lead generation and brand awareness initiatives Collaborate with internal stakeholders on campaign direction, messaging, and growth strategies Assist with content planning and digital campaign execution Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices Requirements Minimum 3–5 years of experience in social media marketing and paid advertising Strong hands-on experience with: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Facebook Pixel and conversion tracking, Campaign reporting and analytics Experience with marketing automation platforms (Zapier, Make / Integromat) CRM integration and lead workflow automation Familiarity with email automation tools (Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or similar) Scheduling and social management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later) Basic understanding of webhooks and API-based workflows Proven ability to manage campaigns independently with minimal supervision Self-driven, proactive, and solutions-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment Agile and adaptable with the ability to manage shifting priorities Strong communication and organizational skills Experience working with Australian businesses or clients is highly preferred Nice to Have LinkedIn Ads experience Canva or basic creative design skills SEO and email marketing knowledge Experience within recruitment, technology, consulting, or B2B industries Familiarity with CRM and automation tools Benefits Flexible remote working environment Opportunity to work directly with an agile Australian startup team High ownership and autonomy in your role Fast-paced environment with opportunities to contribute ideas and strategy Exposure to international projects, campaigns, and clients Collaborative and outcome-driven culture Potential for contract extension and long-term engagement based on performance Work with a team that values initiative, adaptability, and continuous improvement
