Job Role Overview:
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for promoting and ensuring specific health and safety requirements are adhered to by all site-based personnel.
This role involves conducting site inductions, providing support to new employees and contractors, and ensuring incident events are reported, recorded, escalated, and investigated as per BCI standards and procedures.
The ideal candidate will assist Operations with the implementation of the HSEQ management plan and programs, be involved in field leadership, mentorship, and engagement with the workforce, conduct auditing, field inspections, and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site inductions for new employees and contractors
* Provide support to new employees and contractors
* Ensure incident events are reported, recorded, escalated, and investigated as per BCI standards and procedures
* Assist Operations with the implementation of the HSEQ management plan and programs
* Be involved in field leadership, mentorship, and engagement with the workforce
* Conduct auditing, field inspections, and risk assessments
