HAYS Technology is seeking to hire an APS5 IT Service Desk Analyst for a leading Federal Government Department located in Canberra, ACT.
Your new role
The IT Service Desk Analyst will be involved in providing first-level technical assistance and customer support for GENESYS systems. This role is critical in ensuring timely resolution of issues, maintaining high service standards, and delivering a positive user experience across all GENESYS systems.
What you'll need to succeed
Applicant should have:
Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on delivering outcomes.
Ability to learn quickly and develop an understanding of diverse Defence business areas.
Familiarity with current industry standards for effective Level 1 Helpdesk support.
Knowledge and experience in identifying and analysing system performance issues and user support challenges.
Flexible approach to working across a variety of tasks within a small team environment.
Strong time management and organisational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
Holding active NV1 clearance
Prior experience in Army, Defence or GENESYS Business Unit.
Desirable criteria
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
Demonstrated understanding of the ICT software development lifecycle.
Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
