You will work closely with our team of cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for our patients.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality transthoracic and stress echocardiograms in 3 HealtheHeart locations: Lingard Private Hospital, Charlestown and Maitland Private HospitalWork closely with our imaging cardiologists to interpret echocardiograms and provide detailed and timely reports using a streamlined reporting system.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Ensure the highest standards of patient care, comfort, and safety during procedures.Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal functionality.Participate in continuous professional development and stay up to date on the latest advancements in cardiac imaging.Essential CriteriaRelevant qualifications in cardiac sonographyMinimum 2 years' experience performing a wide range of cardiac ultrasound examinationsCurrent accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)Strong clinical skills and experience in performing a wide range of cardiac ultrasound examinations including stress echoStrong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathophysiology, and imaging techniquesExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsCommitment to delivering high-quality patient care and continuous professional developmentExperience with structural heart cases (TAVI, Mitra-Clip, etc) is desirable but not essentialExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and pride in the accuracy of your work.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamWho We AreCentrally located between the shops and cafes of The Junction and Merewether Beach, Lingard is Newcastle's largest private hospital and offers the community access to the best surgical care in the region.Spanning two sites Lingard offers 14 theatres, 2 endoscopy suites, cardiac catheterisation lab, ICU, 2 surgical wards, cardiac ward, rehabilitation ward and dedicated day surgery centre.
