Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Enmore, NSW, for a Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships. The role involves developing and executing strategic fundraising plans to strengthen revenue streams, cultivating and stewarding donor and partner relationships, and overseeing grant applications and management. Responsibilities include identifying funding opportunities, coordinating with internal teams to align activities with the organizational mission, and ensuring the efficient and ethical management of funds. The role also includes driving partnerships with corporations, community groups, and philanthropic organizations to support the organization's goals.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fundraising, philanthropy, or partnership development
* Proficiency in donor and stakeholder engagement and relationship management
* Expertise in grant writing, sponsorship proposals, and developing funding strategies
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Understanding and commitment to social justice, human rights, and working with marginalized communities
* Ability to work on-site in Enmore, NSW, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Experience in not-for-profit sectors or with community organizations is highly desirable
