The Role
We are currently seeking a Casual Receptionist / Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office Team.
Your warm and welcoming smile, positive can-do attitude and a willingness to ensure that our guests have the most memorable stay are all attributes that come naturally to you.
Qualifications
* Exceptional guest service skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Willingness to use initiative and ability to solve problems
* A hands‑on approach and adaptability to workplace situations
* Team orientated
* Great organizational skills
* A friendly and outgoing personality
* Excellent presentation and grooming
* Ability to work a seven‑day rotating roster with various shifts including occasional night shift
* Ideally, previous Hotel Front Office experience
* Previous experience with Opera PMS will be highly regarded
Responsibilities
* Check‑in and check‑out of guests, making the process feel swift and seamless
* Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
* Assisting with general guest enquiries
* Guest services including concierge and porter
* Staying one step ahead of our guests' needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
* Maintaining accurate accounts
* Ensuring all of our guests have a memorable experience at our great hotel
