What you will be doing in this role We have multiple Full Time perm roles available for experienced Registered Midwives to join the team at NSW's largest private hospital. You will work within a well-established and supportive team with a Nursing Unit Manager that is hands on, flexible and likes to see her team be successful in their role.
You will ideally work perm night shifts in the Post Natal and Well Baby Nursery monitoring the health and wellbeing of both Mum and baby. You will also provide personalised care to suit your patients' needs and provide education on postpartum care. You will be supported in this role with two weeks of orientation and be provided ongoing support from the NUM and Team Leaders.
Who we're looking for: You'll have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife with at least 2 years post registration experience. You'll have experience working within a private hospital (preferred but not essential) You'll have demonstrated elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence. You'll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues. You'll be able to commit to perm mid-week night shifts (highly desirable) however candidates that can work a mix of 2 nights and 2 day shifts are also encouraged to apply.
