About the Role
As part of our Sydney‐based team of passionate property data salespeople and with direct support from the Regional Director Sales for Financial Services, you will drive the opportunity to grow our market share in the Banking, Mortgage Broker & Valuation segment by introducing new and expanding existing commercial relationships in those markets.
Leveraging our strong market position, direct manager support and your own domain knowledge and industry network, you will deliver value to the market through our unique property data solutions, including direct data feeds, the PriceFinder platform and Automated Valuation Models.
Key to your success will be continuous market and customer engagement through prospecting and relationship management activities such as qualifying inbound leads, cold calling, industry event networking, product demonstration and training, running data workshops and coordinating client and market events.
Typical Day Responsibilities
* Grow and develop the sales pipeline to achieve individual sales targets through new business activity within your territory and engagement with clients in your book of business to renew and upsell data product subscriptions.
* Maintain best practice pipeline management, including accurate opportunity logging, qualifying leads within 48 hours, and reporting pipeline performance at Team Sales Pipeline meetings.
* Support go‐to‐market for new products or enhancements in your territory.
* Capture and deliver timely feedback on products arising from client and market engagement, support objection handling, and contribute to product road‐map discussions.
* Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to maintain opportunity momentum and achieve quarterly goals.
* Expand your knowledge to become the domain expert for property data solutions in your markets.
* Travel interstate to engage with your sales territory.
Ideal Candidate
* 2+ years of B2B consultative or diagnostic sales & account management in data/SaaS, preferably within Financial Services.
* Ability to understand target/client requirements, diagnose problems, and propose relevant solutions with clear proposal communications.
* Strong verbal communication and ability to build rapport quickly with executive to technical stakeholders.
* Experience handling contract negotiations for new business and subscription renewals, establishing win‐win outcomes.
* Solid ability to communicate use cases to meet internal governance and pricing requirements.
* Enthusiasm and passion to build lasting business relationships and grow market share.
* Strong experience using a CRM to support sales activity, develop pipeline, and report performance.
Desirable
* Property Data Solution sales experience into the Financial Services market of Australia.
* OR Direct Australian Property Market experience at a lending, valuation or mortgage broking company.
