We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to work in our busy Suzuki service team in Warwick Farm.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily tasks for a team of technicians.
* Oversee technician productivity and efficiency.
* Prioritise repair orders for timely completion.
* Assist with technical problem-solving.
* Suggest additional work to the Service Advisor team for customer notification.
* Ensure repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures, seeking clarification when needed.
* Lead qualified technicians and apprentices to optimise service delivery.
* Ensure all work meets manufacturer benchmarks.
* Maintain a protected work workplace.
* Assist in setting and achieving service sales and profit objectives.
* Control workshop activity to maximise profitability.
Qualifications
* Relevant work experience and trade qualifications
* Previous Workshop Controller experience preferred but not essential
* Current driver's license
* Excellent time management skills and is punctual and reliable
* Ability to lead the team
* MVTC essential
* Air-Conditioning License preferred but not essential
* ASCIS & AUVIS License preferred but not essential
* Demonstrates care and attention to detail
* Valuable communication skills
