Job Role
We are seeking a skilled baker with expertise in creating high-quality baked goods.
Main Responsibilities
* Mix and prepare dough from scratch using fresh ingredients to ensure consistent quality.
* Knead, mature, cut, mould, and shape dough for various bread and pastry products according to established recipes.
* Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times to achieve optimal product quality.
* Coordinate the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of batches of bread, rolls, and pastries efficiently.
* Ensure cleanliness of equipment and premises before production runs adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
* Operate machines that roll and mould dough safely and effectively.
* Empty, clean, and grease baking trays, tins, and other baking equipment regularly.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic working area at all times.
* Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and finished products to maintain high standards.
* Plan and follow the daily production schedule to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.
* Optimize the use of equipment and resources to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
