We're seeking an Accountant to support our Financial Controller across month‐end close, reporting and analysis. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial results, maintaining balance sheet integrity and supporting audits and statutory reporting.
Key responsibilities
* Prepare and process journals, accruals and adjustments to support month‐end close
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
* Assist with management reporting, variance analysis and commentary
* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (additions, transfers, depreciation, audits/stocktakes)
* Support statutory reporting requirements and audit processes
* Contribute to process improvement and documentation
About you
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (CPA/CA or working towards is desirable)
* Experience in a similar accounting role, including reconciliations and month‐end close
* Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
* Confident communicator who can work with both finance and operational stakeholders
* Experience with Business Central is advantageous
