Job Description As part of the Group Financial Planning Analysis team the Finance Analyst - FP A will be tasked with supporting the consolidation and reporting of the Jetstar Group financial results.
The role will also support budgeting and forecast activities with the corporate support functions.
The core responsibilities of this role are: Working closely with Qantas and Jetstar stakeholders to understand key business drivers, providing variance analysis for the group results for month-end close process.
Supporting the mid-year and end of year investor relations process and audit requirements.
Support budget and forecast activities in the Corporate Support functions (People, Finance, BSA fee reporting).
Support the bi-annual 5YP process.
Initiatives reporting and tracking, below the line reporting, project opex reporting business case support.
Assist in preparation of scorecard reporting and metrics.
Support other adhoc activities carried out within the Group FP A team.
To be considered for this role, you will have: Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA / CPA) At least 3 years experience in the management accounting / business analyst arena or professional services Strong analytical, financial modelling and cause-and-effect skills Proven ability to manage priorities and multiple stakeholders Preferable airline or high turnover/low margin large industry experience Strong computer based skills (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint) TM1 experience desirable Applications close: Monday 2 February **** Your Life At Jetstar Is Unlike Any Other.
