Responsibilities
* Preparing capital project proposals, including scope of works definition, engineering designs, project schedules, and budget estimates in consultation with site production and maintenance teams.
* Ensuring that projects are implemented according to Australian and internal standards.
* Managing internal resources, external contractors, and coordinating changes to scopes, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
* Providing technical guidance and resolution to queries arising during project execution.
About You / Qualifications
* Mechanical Trade Certificate and Associate-Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical role, OR tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical role.
* A thorough understanding of the Workplace Health & Safety Act and associated Australian Standards.
* Proficient in mechanical and process design software including AutoCAD.
* Experience in fluid-based mechanical systems such as complex hydraulics, thermodynamics, and pumping system development, commissioning, and fault finding is well regarded but not essential.
* Computer literacy in Microsoft applications and Maintenance Management systems including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications (SAP).
* Must currently hold Full working rights for Australia and an Australian Driver's Licence.
