These individuals help corporations to ensure they have a robust tax governance and tax risk management framework that meets the ATO’s expectations and are aligned with the industry best practices. In this role, you will work closely with clients to strengthen their tax risk management and tax governance, supported by tax technology, automation, and emerging AI tools. What you’ll do: Design and draft tax governance documentation, including tax risk policies, procedures manuals, and current-state gap assessments Advise clients on tax governance responses and compliance with the ATO Combined Assurance Review and other ATO review and performance programs Develop tax control testing plans and perform independent testing of tax controls Support clients with the adoption of, and ongoing compliance with, the Voluntary Tax Transparency Code and Public Country-by-Country Reporting requirements on their approach to tax governance Apply tax technology and AI tool to enhance governance, testing, and reporting outcomes What we’re looking for: Your keen eye for detail Strong analytical and communication skills Experience in corporate tax, and/or risk assurance/internal audit Experience using tax technology, data, or automation tools (AI experience desirable) A proactive mindset and interest in working at the forefront of regulatory and technological change What you’ll gain: A supportive, inclusive culture where your ideas and perspective are welcomed from day one.
