Position Facility Supervisor (Pack shed) – Avocados

We are currently seeking a
Facility Supervisor (Pack shed)
to join our Costa Avocado team in Childers, Queensland.
Responsibilities
Plan and supervise packing staff to ensure maximum productivity, in collaboration with the Pack Shed Manager.
Assist in developing the production schedule and monitoring the labour budget.
Set up, operate, and maintain packing line and associated equipment. This includes troubleshooting issues and liaising with technicians as required.
Manage packed product, process fruit, and waste levels accurately and promptly, reporting weekly or as required through Packout and QC reports.
Monitor product grading, MLS, and packing staff performance, making adjustments as needed to maximise productivity.
Train and supervise line QCs in the use of relevant systems.
Monitor and report on quality, food safety, and WHS requirements, driving continual improvement.
Ensure staff training is up-to-date with current health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Proven experience supervising in a pack shed or similar environment.
Strong planning, organisational, and leadership skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
An ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds.

A solid understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
What We Offer Full Time employment. Salary range:
$75K - $80K
