Location - Darwin
Employment Type - Full time or Part time (4 days per week)
Salary - $105,266.84 - 122,641.20 per annum (inclusive of annual leave loading and superannuation)

About The Role
We are looking for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. Responsibilities may include:
Working in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
Utilizing assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilising positive behaviour support framework
Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
Attending weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs
Tapping into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor

To Work As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, You Will Have:
A Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Bachelor, Masters Or Graduate Diploma) And Relevant Registration
Minimum 2 years experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
A positive and flexible approach to work
Solid communication skills and be a team player
Commitment to personal and professional growth
A valid Australian drivers license
NDIS Workers Screening Check
Working with Childrens Check
