We are seeking a Mine Geologist (Underground) to join our Geology team, supporting underground production through high-quality grade control, geological interpretation and close collaboration with Mining.
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, this role plays a key part in delivering planned tonnes and grades safely and accurately, while contributing to continuous improvement across underground geology practices.
The Opportunity Provide production-focused geological support across underground mining activities Manage headings and stockpiles, including daily production tracking, reconciliation and validation Conduct underground geological mapping and sampling, maintaining accurate reference plans Support underground diamond and sludge drilling programs, including logging, sampling and QAQC Build, update and maintain 3D geological models using Surpac, Micromine and/or Leapfrog Work closely with Mining to maximise ore recovery and minimise dilution Support and mentor graduate geologists and geology technicians as required About You Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geoscience Experience in underground mine geology, ideally within a gold operation Strong understanding of Archean greenstone-hosted gold systems Confident using industry-standard geological and mine planning software High attention to detail, strong communication skills and a collaborative working style Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement Why Join Ramelius Long-life assets with active underground operations Supportive, high-trust working environment Strong focus on technical excellence and development Opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing Australian gold producer If you are an Underground Mine Geologist looking to work for a company that values its people, invests in development and delivers consistent operational performance, we would love to hear from you.
