InLanguage Boutique is opening a new centre in Thornbury for Term 1, 2026 — and we're also expanding cover at our Brunswick East location this term. We're an established Melbourne language school (est known for small-group adult classes that are structured, social and focused on real communication.
We're looking for a French tutor who's excited to join a growing school — with clear opportunities to build more hours and responsibility over time as classes expand across both locations.
The role
You'll teach adult French group classes in Thornbury and/or in Brunswick East, with the option to add one-to-one/private lessons as they become available. Our levels, course structure and teaching resources are ready to go, and we provide a clear induction and ongoing support.
Typical teaching times:
* Evenings (most common)
* Some mornings
* Some Saturday classes available
What you'll be doing
* Deliver engaging adult French classes using our structured level system and course materials
* Create a welcoming, interactive environment where students speak from day one
* Keep pacing aligned to term plans and communicate progress with our team
* Support student experience and retention through a professional, friendly and fun class culture
* Over time (optional): take on more responsibility (e.g., mentoring newer tutors, supporting course coordination, workshops/conversation sessions)
What we're looking for
* French proficiency (native speaker Level)
* Experience teaching adults (preferred)
* Confident classroom presence and clear communication
* Reliable, organised, and great with people
* Available to start Term 1 (February 2026) and attend a flexible induction in January
