As an Assistant Store Manager you will be a key member of the leadership team, supporting the Store Manager in all areas of running a multi‑million‑dollar business. You'll help motivate team members, oversee daily operations, track performance and guide the store to exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
* Help develop the next generation of leaders by training and coaching team members.
* Maintain the store's appearance, safety and cleanliness to the highest standards.
* Manage stock, monitor inventory and minimise losses.
* Assist customers at registers, fill shelves, and arrange merchandising displays.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and share idea‑generating culture.
* Ensure smooth running of the store, delivering customer satisfaction and excellence.
* Step up to manage the store during the Store Manager's absence.
Qualifications
* Experience leading teams in a customer‑facing environment.
* Strong communication skills to inspire teammates and delight customers.
* Passion for motivating, training and encouraging staff.
* Ability to support the Store Manager in achieving store results.
* Professional and responsible approach to all situations.
* Capacity to work independently and enforce ALDI policies and procedures.
