Sales Team Lead
We are seeking a talented individual to lead our Sales team and drive local media sales growth. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to the Sales team, including coaching, mentoring, and in-field training. This will help drive performance, growth, and collaboration across departments. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining key relationships with clients, agencies, internal teams, and external stakeholders. Representing our organization publicly as needed, managing local office facilities, ensuring compliance with broadcasting licenses and relevant legislation, and handling legal or business matters affecting our stations are all key aspects of this role.
Your success in this role will depend on your ability to prepare revenue and lost business reports, support local content and promotional strategies, and contribute to cross-market initiatives and leadership forums. You will need to possess attributes such as high levels of energy, EQ, humility, authenticity, and transparency. Financial and commercial literacy, driven and focused behavior, experience as a people leader, and media sales leadership experience are also highly desirable.
You will also have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to motivate teams and individuals to consistently perform at high levels, and a strong strategic vision. You will be able to use financial and business information to inform decisions and implement strategic initiatives.
