About the Role
A warm, professional couple expecting their first child in July 2026 are seeking an experienced, nurturing Full-Time Traveling Nanny Educator to join their family long-term.
This is a unique opportunity to support a newborn while travelling internationally with the family between Australia and the United States. The parents intend to continue their professional and travel commitments with their baby—and are looking for an educator who is excited to grow alongside them.
About the Family
The family is an internationally mobile household dividing their time between Australia and the USA, with the schedule varying year to year.
Both parents are thoughtful, engaged, and value respectful communication
Privacy, discretion, and professionalism are extremely important to the family
Key Responsibilities
Childcare (Primary Focus)
Sole-charge care for a newborn from July onwards
Provide consistent, nurturing, calm, and developmentally appropriate care
Support routines including feeding, sleep, and early developmental milestones
Assist with evening care, date nights, and work commitments as required
Adapt as the child grows and their needs evolve
Household Support
Prepare healthy, nourishing meals (menu planning and initiative welcomed)
Laundry and general household organisation
Light cleaning and maintaining a calm, tidy home environment
Assist in preparing for both formal and casual entertaining
Anticipate household needs and act proactively
Ideal Educator Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
Australian nationality with an Australian accent (essential)
Highly experienced with newborns and infants
Calm, warm, patient, and emotionally attuned
Adventurous and genuinely excited about international travel
Respectful, discreet, and professional at all times
Highly organised, proactive, and confident working independently
Comfortable managing household flow alongside childcare
A capable, health-conscious cook with an interest in nutrition and wellness
Flexible, adaptable, and positive in a dynamic environment
Bonus (not essential):
Experience in multilingual households
Ability to speak German or Spanish
Requirements
Proven infant or newborn experience
Long-term mindset and genuine love of working with babies
Ability to immerse yourself as a trusted professional in a private household
Flexibility to travel internationally and adjust to varying schedules
Eligible to apply for US-E3 Visa (Specialty Occupation Workers from Australia)
