About the Role

Step into 2026 with exciting opportunities! Major Oil & Gas projects are happening across Australia, and shortlisting will begin soon!

Due to continued growth, we are seeking skilled and driven Industrial Service Technicians to join our high-performing teams on major shutdowns in 2026. Industrial Service Technicians are critical in assisting our specialised scopes, including High Pressure Water Blasting, Specialised Mechanical Services, Tank Maintenance and Cleaning, Working Safely at Heights, and Confined Space Entry. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work safely and collaboratively with teams across remote locations.

Point of hire: Perth (WA), Adelaide (SA), Melbourne (VIC), Sydney (NSW), Canberra (ACT), Brisbane (QLD), Darwin (NT), and Hobart (TAS).

Duties will include but not be limited to

- Operating and driving Vacuum Trucks
- Tank cleaning
- Sentry work
- Manual labouring type duties
- Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety including participating in safety documentation requirements
- Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised
- Working with other crews and helping out wherever the team requires
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent Communication skills
- Depending on what tickets and experience you hold, you may also participate in High Pressure Water Blasting and Vacuum loading duties

Requirements & Experience Needed

- 1-2 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas industry or a related sector
- 1+ years’ experience driving and operating a Vacuum Truck
- Ability to work shift work (Day/Night/Weekends)
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Working at Heights certificate (within 2 years - essential)
- Confined Space Entry certificate (within 2 years - essential)
- Gas Test Atmosphere certificate (within 2 years – essential)
- Breathing Apparatus certificate (Highly desirable)
- MSMSS00018 – Operate High Pressure Water Jetting System – Operator or Assistant ticket (desirable)
- MSMSS00020 – Vacuum Loading Operations (Desirable)
- Current Drivers Licence (HR/HC/MC - desirable)
- High Risk Work License – LF/Dogman/Rigger (advantageous)
- Full Australian work rights
